Is spray tanning bad for you?

i know that the tanning beds are bad, but how about the spray tanning? can you get skin cancer and bad wrinkles from it like the tanning beds give you?Is spray tanning bad for you?
KM2- You can't get ink poisoning from writing all over yourself with pen or marker. That's a total myth. If you had a cut and tore it open to empty the ink contents of a ballpoint pen into it, then yes, you'd get ink poisoning. But I'm pretty sure that if you scribbled marker over a small cut, you'd be fine. That said, don't try it, haha!

To answer your question, if you're face with the option of either going to a tanning bed or spray tanning, DEFINITELY spray tan! Spray tanning does NOT cause wrinkles or any of the effects of real tanning or tanning beds. Why? Bad effects from tanning is due to the sun's UVA and UVB rays. If it's a sunless or heatless tanning method, you're completely fine.

Spray tanning can make your skin tone come out a little unevenly, though, so if you want a normal tan for the winter (not an extravagant one for a big event) you may want to try a liquid cream, like Jergens, and I know Aveeno makes some. Its perfectly safe.

Stay away from tanning beds, hon! Remember to wear SPF in the winter still, if not on your body, at least on your face. You can still get sunburnt through a glass window, no lie! So use that SPF %26amp; tanner simultaneously.

Hope I helped, sweetiee :]Is spray tanning bad for you?
No it isn't bad for you unless it gets in your lungs. The chemical used in spray tans has a reaction with dead skin cells and turns them darker - no harm in that. Just be sure not to have any dry patches of skin b/c they will end up darker, so keep very moisturized before your appointment.

To make it last longer avoid long showers/baths and exfoliating, keep really well moisturized to prevent the dead skin from sloughing off because the colour will come off with it.
i would think so but not like tanning beds. i mean you can get ink poisoning from writing on yourself so if you are putting a dye on your skin all over, then how great could that be for you?? idk though
no!
