Okay so im finally fit. what is the best way to tan? sun, tanning beds or spray? any pros and cons?

Depends on what your skin is like. If you can sit in the sun and not burn horribly, that's the way to go. Seriously, there is nothing better than a natural suntan. Its color cant be duplicated, and it doesn't fade.

Now, if that wont work, find a tanning salon. Make sure you ask around first and check how clean they are! Cleanliness is a good way to check for quality.

I wouldn't use sprays if I were you. They look fake, fade, and are often blotchy. If you are in a rush though, thats what I would do. It's February so you have time.

My recommendation: hit the tanning salon once or twice, see how your skin reacts. If you like it, do it slowly and when the sun comes out, thats the way to do it.

Good Luck! And Good Work on finally getting fit!Okay so im finally fit. what is the best way to tan? sun, tanning beds or spray? any pros and cons?
Okay, so you're fit. But don't ruin that with tanning, babe! Goodness! Tanning totally kills your skin! It only looks good for a couple of weeks then fades away. The thing is, you don't realize all the damage it's doing for like 5-10 years but after that suddenly, your skin looks leathery and dry, so you put lots of moisturizer on your face and now your skin looks greasy and porey! ICK! Makeup will not go on evenly and you'll feel so shitty that you feel like going for a tan because you think it's going to make your skin look a tad bit better. And so you'll damage your skin even more! It's an ugly, vicious cycle.

So, in conclusion, stay away from tanning beds and overly baking yourself on the beach. If you plan to tan on the beach, remember to use a sunscreen with an appropriate SPF (no spf 5-15! it's too weak!). Use a good self-tanner and bronzer to get that sunkissed look. Go to iVillage.com to check out reviews for self tanners and pick out the one that appeals most to you. I also wouldn't suggest a spray-on tan because it simply makes people look like Oompa-Loompas. Eww....Okay so im finally fit. what is the best way to tan? sun, tanning beds or spray? any pros and cons?
Tanning beds- Cons: You have to go more than once. It takes a long time to get the tan you want and in most places it can be expensive. It always can cause cancer. Pros: When you get the tan you want it's easy to maintain and lasts longer than tanning sprays

Mystic tanning-Pros: It's fast and easy. Cons: Sometimes it looks like it has been done. It doesn't last that long. Sometimes it's uneven.

Natural Sun- Pros: it looks the best and is free! Cons: If you cant tan you cant tan. You will get burned.

Self-tanners- Pros: they are cheap. Cons: everything else. the color isn't that great and it looks blotchy.
the best way to tan is to tan natural there are many risks in tanning beds like if you go to many times you have a higher chance of getting cancer so stick to the natural way
First, if tanning outside ALWAYS wear a high SPF suncreen. Tanning beds as well as tanning without SPF, can cause skin cancer. Spray tanning would be the best, BUT, make sure you do a little research first so you don't come out orange...seriously. Just be careful in the sun and in tanning beds. It is so not good for the skin.
OMG WHAT EVER YOU DO DON';T GET A SPRAY ON TAN. THESE GIRLS AT MY SCHOOL GOT A SPRAY ON TAN AND THEY LOOK LIKE CLOWNS.
fakebake lotion. It's not going to turn you orange and you can do it at home rather than be naked in public with strangers, unless that's what you're after. www.fakebake.com
Never, never use a tanning bed. I am a 60 year old who has gone for years. It has finally caught up with me skin cancer had to be cut from my calf, my back, my shoulder. Use the spray. and always use a high spf factor. (advice from my Dr)scars are

unsightly, spray tans are not and they are safe (so far) also if

you obt for sun, or just out in it use a spf 45 (more advice from my Dr.)
tanning beds and the sun is bad for ur skin so spray thats what i use and im so tan
