I am seriously considering spray tanning b/c my skin is fair and burns easily but have a few questions.....
1- is it good or do they still end up orange and streaky...
2- how often do you have to go to keep up with it?
3- how much does everyone pay?Is spray tanning worth it? or will I turn orange?
I would only recommend spray tanning for a special event. The color looks good, but it doesn't just fade away. As it's coming off (after a couple of days), your skin gets all blotchy. For $20-30 per treatment, it's just not worth the upkeep.
Try using some of those body lotions with self tanner added. They work really well, just make sure to wash your hands after you use them. You can use a makeup sponge to apply to the backs of your hands. Is spray tanning worth it? or will I turn orange?
I got a spray tan once. It was a waste of my money it was in a machine that sprays and you just stand it in then turn around. I was orange and streaky. Cant remember how much it costed. One of my friends got one that some lady sprayed her with some kind of spray gun and hers looked great. If you get one make sure it is not a tan you get by getting sprayed by a machine!
make sure you exfoliate your skin about a week leading up to it so that it doesnt start flaking and looking blotchy. Make sure when you go you also dont wear any make up or deoderant and get it done in the afternoon so you can sleep with it on.
i usally scrub mine off after 3 days because it starts to scale and become blotchy.
i would only reccommend them for special occasions (dates, weddings, parties ect) rather then a weekly thing.
u'll turn orange and it'll just look fake
well I really like it. But there are a few things you should know-
- It can be pretty pricey (about $25 for a mystic at a salon) and it needs to be done once a week to keep it looking good
- doing it yourself can get messy and it stains clothes/sheets/pretty much anything it touches.
-It takes a while to find a brand that works with YOUR skin. I love banana boat bc it doesnt make me look orange, but I have a very pale friend who loves Neutragena. It's trial and error to find a good one.
-wear gloves if you do it yourself. trust me. I keep a year round tan and have learned that the $4 you pay for a box of cheap gloves will save you TONS of time scrubbing the orange off your hands later.
-Make sure you scrub your skin before you start and then moisturize about an hour before you apply the tanner.
-Moisturize every chance you get. it keeps your skin from drying out and the tanner flaking off (since you are just staining the top layer of skin.)
Good luck!
