I doubt any danger UNLESS you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Which you wouldn't know until it happens.
I think they typically last about a week.Is there any danger in spray tanning and how long does it last?
Don't use it if you have freckles!
I've used a LOT of self-tanning products so I never even expected what happened when I used one of those instant spray-on tans. The lotions and creams that develop over time worked well for me...they would even out my skin tone...basically darkening the rest of my skin so it was the same color as my light freckles. I decided to try the spray-on before a vacation to Florida and was horrified when the product caused my freckles to darken at least as much if not more than the rest of my skin. I looked like I had chicken pox!
I did a little investigating and it seems that the ingredients in the spray-on tanning products worked with the melanin in your skin to darken it...of course, emphasized my freckles and other patches on my skin where the melanin was more concentrated. The other tanning products used a different ingredient that simply colored the skin so they didn't emphasize my freckles.
I would recommend trying it on an area of your skin you can conceal if necessary unless you are certain that your skin tone is even to start with! It did work great and lasted for more than a week (a lot longer than the lotions/creams)...but I wasn't even aware of the extent of the freckling on my legs especially until I used this product! Is there any danger in spray tanning and how long does it last?
Not really. It just don't last as long and I think it is not as good as a tan as the Sun or a bed.I laughed when I read your question,Not because it wa funny But I am looking on e-bay at the same time looking for a portable tanning bed for my home.I want a older when that takes up little space.I used when as a kid in high school,My friend had one.But normal I got o the tanning salon and it cost alot so I decided to save up my money and search e-bay.I am trying to save money every way I can with the way the economy is.I like looking tan,It boost my confidence. But I don't want to pay the Money the way I used to.
One danger is you don't really know what color you will be. Put it on light and wait a day then add more.
You are likely to turn orange.
