i dont want to spend more money on it, but my natural skin color is so pale, and i'm not going to risk getting cancer by going in a tanning bed, or tanning naturally. Plus I'm sick of the results i've been getting. whats your opinion ?Self spray tans, they've all made my skin orange and streaky. Should i get it professionally done next time ?
I don't know where you're located but there is a salon near my home called Calista Grand Salon and Spa
www.calistagrand.com
They have a spray tan that you cannot go wrong with it! It makes you dark fast and no streaks The only thing is a salon executive personally applies the product and you might feel a little uncomfortableSelf spray tans, they've all made my skin orange and streaky. Should i get it professionally done next time ?
you can get it prof done.. but try this next time first - mix a lotion with your tanner, and graduallly use it every few days. it'll dilute the orange colour a bit, help not make you streaky, and you can add more depending on what its coming out like. :) good luck and if still doesnt work, professional i guess.
i would get it professionally done!
there are these tanning wipes you can use. they're like baby wipes but they give you a tan after 2 uses or so...you can try those if you want! they're only good if you want to to small areas like your face %26amp; arms. otherwise you'll be using too many and that gets costly.
you can even try a tanning moisturizer. you get an instant ';tan'; and it's not streaky cause it's a body lotion...after a few uses that tan will stay a little longer!
well...i would get it done professionally then u know tht u wont have any streaks and it lasts longer depending on which spray tan they use
Well actually tanning in a bed.... is like A LOT less likely to get skin cancer then the sun, the sun has some sort of rays in it that a tanning bed doesn't, but you still can get it.
Should you get it sprayed professionally?
I personally think that you should just try this special one before you get it professionally. Try any of these. They work great for me, they're a little extra money, but they work great

Good luck =]
Ps I know what u mean by turning 'orange'
Well you could spend money on a professional one but then you can't garuntee that you won't turn orange.
I'd go with a gradual self tanner.
It tans your skin over a period of a week so you can control how dark you want it to be.
Jergens makes one in a body lotion type of thing so it won't smear.
I bought one a Bath and Body Works thats gradual tanner/sunscreen.
If you're really after the bronzed look, then do go get it done professionally, it's the only way you can be guaranteed good results because their reputations and careers are at stake. Personally, I don't understand the obsessions with tanning. There is no such thing as a 'healthy' tan and if you have an all year tan, it doesn't look real anyway.
