Hello,

I live in Brissie and for 2 years I have been trying to find the perfect spray tan. I have turned orange, been streaky, looked like a Zebra, looked like a block of chocolate the list is endless!

Last sunday I found the BEST SPRAY TAN EVER! it was a mobile service which was excellent because my tan didn't rub off on my seatbelt in the car. She came to my house and talked to me about what I wanted and she understood that I NEEDED to look natural. She set up and left no mess at my house (such a relief) and she had a great price. She charges $30-$45 depending on how far away you live from her base, but she also has a spray tanning ';party'; which I have booked for 3 weeks time. It's one of my girlfriends hens weekends and we are off to the Goldie, there are 12 of us altogether so she is only charging us $25 each and she brings the hostess a gift!
its about 60 bucks

it lasted me not even a month

i got blotches like spots that would fade

i looked orange, not natural

but it could be different depending on your skin

i say if you really want a tan

youll have to get some fake tanner and like twice a week go into the tanning beds depending how you skin type is

get a membership for the bed and you can go however many times outta that month..

good luck
i had it done before, i didnt like it, it was not worth the money, lasted a week left me with a orange tint and left steaks on my hands! if you do it just do a level one, i did level 3 and came our orange
I use to work in a pharmacy and sold the stuff. The only important thing I have to say on spray tans is that you'll want to spray it on EVENLY!!!!

...you can use a skin exfoliating glove/pad and possibly an exfoliating wash solution before you spray to get rid of old skin so that your coverage will be more even.

Blotchy is not what you want!

You'll need to spray without 'over sparying' areas. Gently does it!

hee hee...know any good spray painters?

Be great if you have a trusted friend to do it to you and they should wear gloves as drips, etc may cause staining on hands.

They can look good.

I'd say go for spray, rather than a sunbed.

Some brands may color you more 'orange' than others, so talk to the tanned chick/guy at your local pharmacy for advice on which brand is best [don't go for a really cheap one]. They can also tell you how long it will last if it's not written on the bottle.
Spray tanning looks great as long as you do it correctly. Before you do anything make sure to exfoliate your skin with a loofa or body scrub. If you are doing Mystic that generally cost about 30 dollars and last about 10 days. You can get sprayed with a bronzer or clear liquid. It looks good as long as you don't go to dark. With the bronzer you will see immediate results with the clear your color will show in 2-3 hours and your's not supposed to wash it off untill the next day. You will need to apply lotion in the creases like ankles, knees and finger nail beds.
The oils , lotions, or mousses are the BEST. I love Neutrogena's mousse (foam.) It works great and is inexpensive. You can find it at most drug stores or online.

Neutrogena Sunless Tanning foam. I use #3, and I'm an average Caucasian. It comes in a yellow container with blue writing. I hope you have good luck with it too! :)
