I get a spray tan once a week because being a redhead, I'm naturally very pale.


The first time I got one I was kind of surprised because I came out looking red. I was going to wash it off, but after I had taken a shower (you have to wait 8hrs) it looked really good, like I had been to the beach recently.


The down side is that it only lasts for about a week :(


I think it's definitely worth it though, and it's a lot safer than tanning on a sunbed. Some people look orange after having spray tans and that's probably because they did not choose the right color or they just didn't maintain it properly. Make sure you shave and exfoliate before the spray tan, and moisturize twice a day after it.

Most spray on tans are not a great idea if you are very pale. Sometimes when you go in to get one, they will appear orange like on your skin. It is recommended to first get a base tan in the regular tanning bed, then once you turn a soft brown start using the spray tan. Having this base color will not make you orangy.
I have tried a lot of self tanners and bronzers. I like L'Oreal Bronzing Mist. It's a micro mist and it looks natural. It dries quickly and has yet to rub off on my clothes. But I usually wait about 10-15 minutes before getting dressed again. I've also sprayed it on my face and have never had streaks or an orange look. I spray about twice a week. Cost about $8-$12 a can.


Also, mystic tans sometimes have specials...buy one get one. So you can get 2 for about $30. They last about 1-3 weeks.
Orangish look, Peels/flakes, doesnt last long.


I guess they are good for a quick tan for a dance or wedding but i wouldnt continually do it for a tan.


Get a membership at a tanning bed and go there for cheaper


Although a pray on tan wont give you cancer! You might want to check different places out ive seen some that look good ANd last long!

i think they are stupid, unhealthy, fake-looking and NOT WORTH IT.
its not worth it dont try the lotion tans either they dont work
FAKE, tacky looking, and plain dumb
i think they're kinda gross and make you look orange ish, no matter what. i would never get them. way too tacky.
