I followed the directions, and moisturized the dry spots like my knees and ankles, but the dry spots still turned out a little dark, and the resulting tan looks a lot more orange than I would like. I know that this stuff will wear off after a while, but I was wondering if there was a way to speed up the process of getting this stuff off? Is there any brand out there that doesn't turn orange in the first place if I were to try using it again?I used some spray on tan stuff, and it didn't come out even. How do I get it off?
lemon juice... helps break down the DHA (color chemical)I used some spray on tan stuff, and it didn't come out even. How do I get it off?
Scrub, scrub, scrub with an exfoliating scrub. You just have to keep on doing it and that is how you will fade it quickly.
Also there are products you can buy that remove self-tanner. I'm not sure of the names, but try a drugstore and ask one of the employees.
I like Sally Hansen all-over spray tanner. I think it works very well and doesn't get streaky or orange.
Two things that I know of will significantly help get it off.
1. Take a hot bath, and put salt in the water. Salt water and soaking will generally help take fake color off of the skin.
2. Exfoliate! Preferably while/ after soaking in the tub.
It should help. Good luck!
when your skins wet, like when you get out of the shower(try and wash it off in the shower obviously) but when your drying youself rubing the towel on your skin kind of rubs off the dead skin, dont rub it too hard until its red raw but!!
thats what happens when you try to have fake skin. I would say the same to someone using bleaching creme. Dont do it. Im sure you look fine and its the summer, a natural tan should be coming soon..
f.y.i. SugarSlush Exfoliating body scrub! Smells awesome too!
