When should you apply self tanning lotion of spray?

I have prom next week and I want to apply a spray on tan that i have. Should i apply it the day of or days before.When should you apply self tanning lotion of spray?
I would advise you to put it on the day of prom, it's better if instant. probably after you get your hair done.





but if your taking a shower on the day of prom wait an hour after you have come out of the shower before applying the tan.

I have been using self-tanners for yrs. They are not ALL the same. Please start applying several days before your prom. I believe from my own experience that the body lotions {JERGEN'S, OLAY} etc, that have a hint of self tanner are ther best. They look more natural and tan gradually and can be used daily. They leave your skin so soft and touchable and do not leave an unpleasant smell

Do not put on the day of prom. The tanner could stain your prom dress!!!
